Going for a visit down to Stafford today, to visit the Freedom Microlite Caravan people.
I thought it would be a good idea as I'm thinking of buying one! Although the new ones are very expensive for what they are. I'll suspend judgement until after I've seen them.
I'm looking for a second user microlite at the moment, but will probably begin the search in earnest after Christmas.

That'd be a nice Christmas present to yourself.

MMMMM!!!!
Back now! I was very impressed, although I have reservations about them. They are very expensive for what they are! It seems the smaller and lighter a van is, the more expensive it is!
The new ones are lovely though, been years since I went to view them in a showroom like that!:)

We had a Freedom Microlite in the 1990s. We used it every school holiday for the 4 of us until the boys were in secondary school. We towed it thousands of moles in the UK and France without any trouble. The caravan shell is the same principle as the Romahome. We only got rid because it was too small, and they are not expensive if you look how long they last compared with most british caravans
