Well it has arrived at last, lovely white snow and loads of it here in North London and seemingly quite a large part of the country.
I had to get to the doctors for routine blood test this morning by 9 am and decided it would be easier to walk there as I thought the traffic would be bad.
Well there were hardly any cars or anyone about. Where is everyone? did they all have a day off and stay in bed?
Has the country come to a halt because of a bit of snow?

We are heading 'darne sarf' to visit our son and family shortly, hope we can get through!
Not too much here, a good covering but the roads are clear and it's now turning very wet and slushy.

Not a lot of snow here - just a thin covering on the gardens and nothing left on the roads. It is still snowing slightly so I suppose that we could still have the masses of snow that has been predicted.

What a sweetie! A big cuddly boy! Thanks Pauline from both of us.
We've had Maggie and Nuts for 12 weeks now - she stops in most of the time, but he is keen to be off out for about 8 hours a day, coming back every hour or two for refuelling. The funny thing is, whenever we go out for a few hours, we always catch him in having a snooze when we get back.
Nuts is not too keen on cuddles at the moment, but we're softening him up gradually.

What a sweetie! A big cuddly boy! Don't be fooled Mike, if I tried to hold him like that he would have my arm off! I think he sees me as a rival for her affections. He doesn't realise there is no contest, she never holds me like that! ;D But on the other hand I don't get put out at night............yet! Graham

Thanks Mike, She looks like a Maine Coon (cat breed) you wouldn't expect one of those to be a farm cat! Cute pics, wonder if they will use the litter tray! (Sorry Viv we seem to have hijacked your snow thread to talk cats)

I think he sees me as a rival for her affections. Perhaps he sees himself as top cat - in which case you must be Officer Dibble
