After your evangelical talk on Sunday morning, I have been out and bought a pair of Crocs - burgundy caymans. Only 8 pairs to go to equal your collection I have not had an instant conversion so I will have to report back after wearing them for a little while.

Well Done, I am sooooooooooooooooo pleased perhaps when you next order a pair, in the comments box, please mention that I converted you.
My step - daughter is now wanting them for the grandchildren x 4 girls!!
I walked the length of Brean Down in them yesterday Wednesday, 3hrs in total, and 200 steps climbed, and not a blister or sore foot in sight.

Hi Joan if I could find a place to buy them (I don't want to do it over the internet as I want to try them) I would get a pair too. any ideas on large stores that might sell them eg shoe shops or dept stores??
yoke enthusiasm has convinced me they are just the ticket for gimping. (I used the spell check for this sentence and it was so funny I selected the options it gave me)

Hi Viv, not sure about the shops, I think there maybe a list of stockists on the net. But they are returnable if the tags are still in place. I am sure that there will be plenty of places in London that are selling them.
Good Luck with your search, buy the same size as your normal shoe. I prefer Caymen to Beach.
Look at Crocs.com for full information. and I buy from Sweetfeetshoes.co.uk
Pleased to hear that Terry is feeling much better, hope to see you both in July.

See here for a list of stockists in UK www.crocsfootwear.co.uk/stores/index.phpI bought mine from a local shop and so couldnot leave comments for you, Joan. I'd better go and put them on so that I can continue my walking practice as I think it will take a while to get used to them.

Best way is to forget that they are on your feet, and you then walk normal!! I certainly have had no problems with mine, and I do lots of walking in them, especially up and down my stairs!!! ( grey hair, keeping forgetting things - as u do)

Hi, I purchased a pair of crocs on the internet recently (www.rubbersole.co.uk, good price and free delivery) as I did not know anywhere local. Turns out there is a shop a few miles away but as it is a shop that mainly sells pine furniture it was not somewhere I thought of for some reason. I got a pair of 'professionals' as they are vented on the side but have a solid top which I need in case of spillages in the kitchen at work. They are very comfy but I have one foot bigger than the other, so one shoe is a bit small if I use the ankle strap but fine without. If I purchased another pair I would go up a size. I always have problems with rubbery type sandals and no socks as I end up with very sweaty feet. This often leads to some embarrassing squelchy noises when you walk around! They are just the business on campsites for in the showers and walking through the wet grass and comfy to work and drive in

Hi Steve, wear them without socks and you WILL NOT have sweaty or smelly feet - promise I too find the professionals on the small side, but Caymen and Endeavors size perfect. I actually gave my professional away. Try the endeavors as they too have the solid top but no holes at the sides, I use mine all the time.
Cheers - Joan

Well, I've had mine on all weekend and so far so good. I've even been for a walk in them and no problems. I don't feel as if I want to rush out and buy another pair, but I'm sure that these ones will get plenty of use. Perhaps if I wear these all the time I'll feel the need to have a different colour.

Hi Lunnie, I do wear the shoes without socks (bad fashion statement to do otherwise !) and whilst they are not smelly my feet are still a bit sweaty and slip around a bit inside them. Maybe it's because most of my usage is in a hot kitchen or when I am busy working around the hostel and I get hot anyway. They are no worse than any other sandals I have ever worn, and at least I can wear them in the kitchen

Hi Lunnie, I do wear the shoes without socks (bad fashion statement to do otherwise !) Steve Well that's my street cred gone, but in mitigation: 1. The young man in the shop said that it was alright to wear socks with crocs 2. I always have cold feet 3. I don't consider that crocs are sandals (wouldn't wear socks with 'proper' sandals) - they are multi-purpose shoes 4. At my age, comfort comes before all else

Hi Wendy, you will find that your feet can be quite warm in the Crocs without socks, though I do wear socks on the odd occasion, as I did at Devizes, but not had any on today.

I started off without socks as I had read that crocs were really warm, but my feet soon felt really cold and so on with the socks. Over the last weekend, in the really warm weather, I've been wearing them without. As I said my feet are always cold - just ask John!
