Oh dear - I think I'm getting dafter the older I get - just look what I've been out and bought now - it's a Road Legal quad, 500cc - and sooo much fun, as you can see from Sue's smile!! These machines are usually seen on or around farms - but those clever Chinese have realised there is a market out there for a road legal version - and they seem to be catching on. What do you reckon - am I beyond help? Mike

Hi gang - yep, there is loadsa room for Sue - in fact I think 3 smaller people (than me) could fit on it comfortably - but of course it's only licensed to carry 2.
We have a small Freewheel trailer that used to go behind a solo bike, and it's black, and the quad has a towbar - so there's plenty of scope.
It's still running in, about 35 - 40mph, but should do about 60mph when fully run in - it's very comfy, but I don't think you could do serious touring on it - the engine sounds fairly "busy" at 40mph, so 60mph would probably need earplugs - but it is fun!!

Hi Mike If you can't get dafter when you get older it would not be much fun would it. It is great to be beyond help isn't it - it's what keeps us going!!!.

Well done, Viv - that's what i wanted to hear - I can go daft again without too much regret, then!! Sorry to hear your heater is playing up - hope it can be fixed easily, and without too much expense. Derek - that's a dinky little trailer, isn't it !! Don't think there's room enough for me in there - let alone the both of us. Mike

Hi Mike
My first reaction was to say "Flipping Eck!" out loud, Pauline came running to see what was the object of my exclamation, we think its great, but got to agree you are barking mad but who cares, enjoy yourself.
Regards Graham
PS "Flipping Eck" is a colloquial term around these parts meaning "my goodness". ;D
