Spotted a hilo as I was walking down a wee side street in Pitlochry this afternoon (Mon 25th). Reg started HK05. I was tempted to wave madly but as I was on foot I thought this might cause the driver to crash cos a mad woman was waving her hands at him ;D

As I was later driving down the A9 in my romahome (only her second outing but she's now called Rhonda) I saw a duo. I could not believe two in the same day! Ofcourse we did the waving thing but got a very strange look from the driver. I spotted that he had French plates so perhaps they don't do the waving thing in France

A Duo with French plates? That must be a first they don't sell them over there as far as I know so they must have bought it in Britain, whenever we went to France in our old Duo we got lots of interest from the locals who had never seen anything like it and with it being on a Citroen vehicle were interested in how it was made etc.

We used to try and wave when we went to France but got very little response although occasionally did get a wave back, this last trip we gave up waving unless we saw another English van.

P.S. I like your vans name, we've never given ours one can't think of anything suitable so we just call it the van.

There's an even stranger thing about the duo with French plates. My partner who as the passenger had a longer time to look at the driver swears he looked exactly like Osama Bin Laden! So now we know where he's hiding out. Scary or what?!
