Hi Moya, If you find any nice sites in the Lake District (or anywhere else for that matter) that you would recommend, we would love to hear about them. I'd like to get a good selection on the website, for future reference and to share with others. There is a link on our website to send site reviews if you would like to. The way the year is rushing past your holiday will be here in no time!

dO YOU WANT WILD CAMPING SPOTS AS WELL ?? Wild camping spots are the best. I will be heading back to France in September and am always interested in new spots to spend the night. Which reminds me, I should probably be posting some of the places I stayed in the spring. Peter

If on Anglesey, try newburough forest, & beach, it will cost £2 pay at gate to park. But there are a few parts of the car park that are out of the way. Great sandy beach. LOO, and picknick tables . nice walk to the island when tide is out, but watch you don't get stuck there when tide comes in. Dogs allowed on one part of beach, not on other. Good fishing off the beach for place, Bass and dogfish.

Another place to wild camp on Anglesey is in LLANFAIR PG You know the one with the longest name . Go past the station carpark and hide away behind the big shop quiet there, or by the station. Bit noisy before 11 pm but then ok
