Aberdeenshire Caravan Parks over 60's prices

Barbara very kindly telephoned me tonight re viewing her van. Whilst talking, I mentioned that Aberdeenshire Council offer reduced rates to couples as long as one of them is over 60. This year's price is £8 per night including electricity. We have only stayed at the Mintlaw park which is 5 star but like the look of the one at Alford. May check it out sometime this year. We used the Mintlaw one several times when house hunting.

If visiting Scotland, of the members may find this of interest as it works out cheaper than the Caravan Club

Thanks for that, it could be interesting to us on our Scottish tour this summer. We have a nephew and family in Aberdeen to visit - will check out the council website.
