Worn seat undersides / non asbestos

I see that the undersides of the seats in my rascal are pretty worn, and I'd like to put a non asbestos heat insulating material under them.

All I've googled so far is non-retail. Any ideas for material and where I could get it?

Hi Mark, I've got the same problem. Mine are all sort of frayed underneath!! Bums get a bit warm after so many miles!!!

As my seats are so worn out on both sides, I'm looking around the scrappies for some younger ones, or ones that haven't been so ill treated.

Keep wondering if they'll catch fire - so best to replace as soon as poss, so keep looking. If I find more than one set I'll give you a shout!

The non asbestos heat insulating material sounds a good compromise, so I'll look into that as well.

That first one I have a feeling it might be *conductive* though!
