We got a Movelite for our Romahome off ebay for £100 including P+P but Glen got one from a dealer for a lot less than that . Cant remember which dealer it was though. They fit quite well and double up your space. Movelite have a web site , thats where we looked first. You can see our awning in the photos of Wolverly. Ours is on right hand side of the picture. Good luck with it.

as pendel says, we also bought a movelite, they were selling them off for £50 at towsure in Sheffield although it was a while ago now - I put a thread up in the buy/sell section at the time. It could be worth giving them a bell to see if they have any left. Otherwise, keep an eye out at as many stores as possible, a new movelite was released for this year so someone might sell off old stock. there is a photo of our van and awning at Wolverley, if you click the photo it should open it in another window at a better size.( its about half way down the page) smallmotorhome.proboards105.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=camping&thread=1454&page=4

Glen
What do those Movelites weigh, approximately?
I don't suppose you know if it will fit on the side door of a Dimension 2, do you?

Look on Outdoor Revolution Website, made by Blue Diamond Products. all weight/sizing etc on there, plus a phone to them, as they are very helpful. I dont think it will suit your vehicle personally. I have the Movelite and the Romahome Harrison Awning, courses for horses. really. But the Movelite is a stand alone as well, plus the added advantage of having a double bed pod inside, so useful for grandchildren or guests as your van is only 2person sleeping but 4 person carrying.

thanks Lunnie - it looks as though the Movelite would be OK for us - certainly it's OK so far as the height is concerned.

I have a movelite as well - quite light and esy to put up when you get the hang of it! I'm also thinking of buying one of these - a Gelert Quick pitch tent outdoorsrus.co.uk/vmchk/Quick-Pitch-Tents/Quick-Pitch-SS-Gelert-2-Man-Tent.html for shorter stays when I'm on my own... they look really easy to pitch and handy just to throw things in so you can go off for the day and also keep your pitch for when you return. They were on the Gadget Show last week and stood up to almost everything that the larger and more expensive things did. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKrymNeHKoA&feature=related this video shows how easy it is to put them up and take them down!

Hiya JayJay. My daughter just bought a tent from Argos for the grandson to take to Gastonbury. Very similar, take it out of the bag and up it pops. Folds back quite easily. The bag has shoulder straps like a rucksack so easy to carry and only £20. May get one of these for extra space. Hope you are well. Penny.

Hi Penny, they do look good, don't they? And not much extra to carry either. What annoys me is that some campsites charge the same, whether for a large awning or small tent on pitch. My awning leaked at Wolverley, so perhaps I need both - one inside the other! Although I think if I had taken more time to adjust the awning it might have stayed dry in there! I've packed some waterproof spray so will give it a blast with that when next I put it up... do think that it was my fault though.
