I see a 2002 C15 on ebay. Did they manufacture C15D Romahomes in 2002? Just curious.

Cheap for a newish Romahome but I have just had a look and it is definitely a reshell. The camper part is at least 18 years old!!!

Hi Glen - yes, they can get extremely pricey, can't they?
BTW Glen - can you let me know how long your campervan is? I have to go measure mine as the CalMac ferries want to know. Now i've tried measuring it with a tape measure and have an 'approximation' but wondered if you had measured yours more scientifically! And I could only hazard a guess at the height!

will measure it for you later, jayjay. At work at the mo!! Dear me! What you doing at work on a Bank Holiday? I hope they're paying you double time! Playallday - I have a manual for the underneath part - the Bedford pick up - but the romahome bit is longer.. so if I take the length of the pickup from the manual and add the back bit I should end up with a length, I think... Will go see... 127.6" pick up length+24" overhang = 151.6" which is (rounding up to the next inch 152" divide by 12 to get feet.. = 12.666666 so around 13ft length? Which is what in metres? Maths was never my strong point. I just had to get a calculator out to do the above!

Dear me! What you doing at work on a Bank Holiday? I hope they're paying you double time! I wish!!!!! anyway, I know we usually say our van is 4 metres long, as for height, its about 5 cm too tall for our garage!!!!!

Dear me! What you doing at work on a Bank Holiday? I hope they're paying you double time! I wish!!!!! anyway, I know we usually say our van is 4 metres long, as for height, its about 5 cm too tall for our garage!!!!! Thanks for that, Glen! If my calculations are correct (I doubt it, knowing my maths) my camper is 13ft in length, or 3.86 metres, so 4 metres is right! And do you know if Diahatsu seats will fit a bedford rascal? Now there's a question! Wish we had had time to try that out at Wolverley.. a friend has just found two in good nick at a scrapyard for £20 the pair! I'm reluctant to go all that way (to Chesterfield, Derbyshire from South cheshire) just to find out they don't/ won't fit. Can't see it somehow, can you? Just posed the same q. to Ant, just in case he (or anyone else) knows!

just had a look on the bambi forum, someone asked a similar question there and the answer was, no! might be worth posting your question on there?? or ask for prices here.. www.bedfordrascal.com/index.htmlor ask for advice here rascals.forumarena.com/even if they did fit, I wouldn't advise them they are the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had the pleasure to use!!! We did buy some lumbar supports from ebay that helped a little. have you tried using the online part finder services?? there are a few like this one here www.breakerlink.com/index.php

LOL! ;D ;D Ant says the same, so that's saved me a 100-mile round trip for nowt. Ah well, the search goes on! Not much difference between your seats and mine then, Glen! They are absolutely SO uncomfortable, aren't they! The springs have gone in mine, also the insulation material stuff underneath, so really warm bum off the engine! I bought some squishy pillows, like these: www.iwantoneofthose.com/mooshy/index.htmlbut bought them at my local Home & Bargain store for £3.99! Brilliant for backs - and neck aches as well. Lovely for lounging on in the Roma' too! I use one when I go out on my mob scooter as the back of that seat is also too upright for me poor back. Can recommend! Just watch the dog doesn't nick em! Thanks for the links - I've already sent an email to bedfordrascal.com - the other rascal owners site look interesting as well!

Funny old world - bit like sitting in the pub - someone starts talking about old vehicles and somehow the conversation gets round to men bragging about how long and big theirs is!!!! ;D

If you look at the other items the e bay seller has up for sale you will see he is selling two rear doors from a late 2002 C15, which could be a bit of a pointer

Emailed the seller yesterday.
It is a reshell. The camper is 1990.
I asked if there was an engineers report and he said no.
Selle r claims that changing the base vehicle is easy but I think not.
We should take very careful note of Ant's advice
