A few questions for you...

Hi all - well we have been enjoying our romahome, Sidney, for a couple of months now but have come accross a couple of nagging issues that need your expert advice!! ( a little bit of creeping can go a long way ;D )
On the drivers side, just to the left of the steering wheel, is a dial type switch thingy with a "o" and a "l" - anyone got any ideas what this does/is for? I haven't liked to tamper with it just in case!
We have a replacement, black cap on our water tank - where can i buy a proper one that doesn't cost £45.00 ?!!
Is there a specific manual for my make - if so where can i buy one?
Sidney is a 1993 C15 hy-lo - in a fetching white with sun searcher and shark decals adorning him!!

Hi Smudger,

The "thingy" you refer to is the head light beam adjuster I.E. rises the beam up or down, depending what load you have on, weather you are front or tail heavy, of course it does not operate automatically you have to turn the knob yourself.

Haynes do a manual for the C15 van it covers everything you will need to know except for the camper part, I have one and I find it invaluable, the number for it is 3509, and you can get one from any car accessory shop even Halfords may have one.

Cant help with the water tank cap, sorry.

Hi Martin-thanks for that - another little riddle solved! I don't mind at all admitting to using the old dumb blonde act when it suits - it can be very useful at times! ;D Of course at other times i go the other way and confuse the poor hubby - oh the joys of being a woman, how do you men cope!!!
I am hoping to take some piccys soon - so you can see Sid in all his glory - and will post them as soon as poss.
