Looks like I'm not going to the opportunity to get out in my C15 Hytop again this year :-( Our main holiday has been hijacked by an overseas event that is too good to miss and weekends just seem to be caught up with family events.
Last week I found a note through the door asking if we wanted to sell our van. Given the use it is currently getting and the cost of tax/insurance for just a couple of trips I'm considering the possibility of selling it and in a couple of years time (4 in the most because that's when I retire) buying something newer. Its a shame to see the van not being used.
Any idea how I go about working out a value for the van. Its old (F reg, 95k on the clock) but mechanically sound and I spent close on £2000 getting the chassis repaired from the ravages of rust last year. The Roma part is in very good nick for the year too.
Any thoughts on an approx current value or how I would go about finding one would be appreciated - I'll obviously trawl the Internet looking for similar vintage Romas for sale.
If this append breaks the rules of the forum then I apologize - I only found this group today (despite being a member of the Romahome Owners club) and already appreciate the pdf files of the manuals that I found in another append.

Hi welcome to the forum.
You don't have to worry about breaking any rules on here, as long as you don't post anything that is not appropriate. Glad you found the pdf files of the manual useful they are on the web site courtesy of Malcolm who is a member of this forum, we all help each other as much as possible by sharing tips and information.
Regarding current market value of your van, have you thought of searching auction sites like ebay or preloved and seeing how much a similar van has been sold for.
If you sell your van I hope you stick with the forum when you get your new one, there are lots of people on here to make new friends with and exchange ideas.
