Hi folks please can anyone advise The door lock actually came out one day as I was unlocking it, it is all there and in working order but needs to be reassembled - which should not be too difficult but the fiddly bit is removing the door lining. - has anyone done this and if so do you need any special tools and how long did it take to remove/replace and is it straight forward with no nasty surprises.
Bet someone knows!

Hi Fuzzy. No real spooky bits to worry about, the hardest part is getting the window winder off. You'll need to push the lining in as you pull the winder out to reveal a small metal clip that needs to be fished out. Keep your eye on it as the clips tend to fly off when released. Then after releasing the handle ( two alun keys) and unscrewing the pocket you can just get your finger under the edge of the lining and pull it off. Once in you find the remains of the clip that holds the lock in lying in the bottom of the door. Ant

Thanks Ant I did it! thought I would get stuck as could not get the window winder off - that clip, but found when I removed all the screws I could just swivel the lining around out of the way. No real problem with it exept working 'blind' and with my left hand was odd but I did it -thanks.
