Any guys on here interested in the Steam and Classic Car scene? We own a few classic motors and travel all over going to shows especially in our area. We have had trailer tent and folding campers in the past and just new to our Rosie Roma, and shes caused quite a stir among our friends. Were of to Dorset Steam Fair soon in her, will take us about 9hrs to get there, from experience. If anyone else should be there look out for us, were easy to spot as Rosie is red base and cream body, feel free to come and say Hello, and have a tinnie or two

Hi Martin! We live about 7 miles out of Durham and have travelled to Dorset for the last 5yr, we leave our classic at home and have taken several modern cars, with a folding camper. It has taken us anything from 7-9hrs with just toilet stops and driver swap. Its somewhere in the region of 327 miles each way, and well Rosie aint the fastest motor on the roads, and we will pray it aint windy! Soz for dropping you in on the tinnie offer, we may well get mixed up-we have never seen another red roma and think they have much more character than boring white, what do you recon?

Thanks for the info,
I recon you are right about the more character.
I am in the process of respraying mine at the moment with new bonnett and new wings, and it does look good and bright, and would stand out in a crowd of RomaHomes.

Hi Joan, I got it from here-- www.beeversautopanels.co.uk/£53.35 + VAT. delivery was £10 very good price, when you consider I was quoted £238 + VAT. from a Citroen dealer. It doesn't come painted with a primer or top coat (just black paint to keep the water out) but neither does a Citroen one The only problem was it doesn't come with the little studs that hold the clips that steadies the front plastic trim, but a couple of small screws and two small (carefully aligned) holes put that right, you will probably need some new clips any way - only from a Citroen dealer, should have been four but I found the outer ones each side were enough to steady it, because it is securely screwed and bolted in the center. Let me know if you want any other info. Martin
