Just bought a set of headlamp beam adapters for our European trip this week from Halfords. It comes with a set of instructions that I'm finding confusing to say the least.
I'm struggling to identify the headlamp type for the Romahome Outlook (2007). Under Citroen Berlingo it has C1, C2,C3, C4 AND C5. I've searched through the veichle registration document and it doesn't have any of these numbers on it. Does anyone know what type the Romahome is built on? There are 131 separate diagrams on the instructions which is unhelpful to say the least. Has anyone put a set on an outlook recently?

I know how you feel. Those instructions are impossible - last time I put the adaptors on, I just stopped at a service station, knelt down in front of the vehicle, roughly where I thought oncoming traffic would be, and got Celia to move them round until I reckoned they were right. In the end, we ditched the adaptors and just used a couple of pieces of black insulation tape. As it happens, the car parked next to us was a local police car (not gendarmerie) and the two policemen inside watched the whole episode with interest.

Hi Chrissy and Martin. The C1 C2 etc are car numbers, the Berlingo being the van or Multispace. I think you have to buy the headlight protectors in order to get the beam deflectors in the correct place. The protectors have small markings on them that denote the position of the deflectors. Ant

Many thanks Ant The diagram makes much more sense now that we are able to rule out all the C numbers! Essentialy it seems that we have to use just the round portion of the adaptor and place it slightly off centre of the shroud/ bulb. All I have to worry about now is the predicted rough crossing on the ferry accross the bay of biscay tomorrow night!
