Hi all, Well Bilbo got his first outing last weekend, overall very pleased with how the remount has gone and the new Hi-jet works beautiful, I even got home just before the snow started Just a couple of small things that I have decided that need doing, but I am even now planning the next weekend away. While I was away, I got introduced to Whisky mac's ( and had the hangover to go with it ) so I will be bringing ginger wine up to the meet along with the whisky Talking of the Newbie meet, I had a count up and we now have 16 units confirmed so it is looking good, but anyone that is not on the confirmed list as yet is more than welcome, could end up being a grerat weekend ( Wine, Whisky mac's, Cake and romahomes.... what more could we need!!) Cheers Dave and the new and improved ( in my mind anyway ;D ;D) Bilbo

Hi Dave (and Bilbo) Bilbo looks magnificent and you've even got a fluffy little red devil the same as your avatar! The meet looks like its going to be a good one, hope they've got a big rally field at this rate we will be overflowing. I don't think I've ever had one so I will be a whiskey mac virgin.

Hi Dave! Glad Bilbos' first outing was a huge success! He's looking good! Boxing day was our first outing and after a really steep hill, we got out and checked all was still bolted on . But we did have 10 stone of dog in the back not a cuddly red devil! Meets looking good! Sunshine1 Ellie

Looks lovely and smart Dave, even to the little devil. Noticed that your original covers are the same as my 1st Romahome which was 1989 model.
Small tip if you wish to hide the items in the luton area. I have rail going across and the fabric used is also extra storage as I made pockets in it, I used the metal U cups and an extendable pole plus velco fitted inside the cup and on the ends on the pole to stop it jumping out whilst travelling.
There used to be a member of the Romahome club many years ago who was known as the velco queen as she used it every where inside and out. I copied a couple of her ideas in my 1st van. I applied velco to the wall by the sink and again to my scissors.so you always knew where they were etc. Also I used the same method for fixing a mini spirit level to the cooker.
