European Breakdown Cover

I have been having trouble getting European Breakdown Cover for our Citroen Hylo Romahome.

The van will be 16years old next year. I have contacted the AA, Direct Line and have all said they will not cover vans over 15 years old. The RAC will, with a premium payment.

We are hoping to go to France in April next year.

Has anyone else come across the same problem? Or can give me some advice on the best way to arrange cover.

May I take this opportunity of saying how informative the site is, very helpful and friendly people.

They have never queried anything when I have phoned them to inform them I'm taking my old C15 to France. Mike
