Oh no, something else... My side window to the romahome is leaking in somewhere. Went out yesterday as I wanted to bring in one of the foam seats to measure up for some covers (dog+muddy paws). Happened to pick the one on the drivers side, and underneath were two very wet boards (which are the lids to the under seat storage - they were actually very wet and begining to go mouldy . The understorage area (thankfully empty) had a puddle of water. Foam seat has dried out ok, has a large rusty water stain underneath from stain (?) leaking from seat boards. The two boards (only thin ply) have been scrubbed and are now drying slowly indoors so they don't warp. These are not original Romahome windows, they are a bit of a cobbled together job, DIY present from a previous owner. like so many of the other probs Ive had with this van. So now I've got to find out where the water is leaking in (I suspect the window seal along the top). I'm hoping some clear mastik will do the job, and hoping (probably in vain!) that I won't have to replace the whole window seal, bet that will prove impossible as I think these windows are completely diy, cut to size, etc. I'm just off to take a photo so you can see what I mean. If anyone has any better ideas for sealing than me, let me know!
