Had a letter from the dealer we purchased from asking if we wanted to sell as they had a customer who wanted a Romahome that had the spec of ours and they could not get hold of one.
Seems they are getting more popular or maybe just a bit scarce. I wonder if folk hang on to them once they have splashed out.
I know we would have a problem finding anything as good. I did look at Nuventure but although very nice the seats were one long bench seat so you could not make up bed in a U shape which is so easy to climb in and out of. Also difficult to access storage.
Oh well off to seaside soon in van and hope it is not too cold.

Hi Viv
Methinks its a bit of a marketing ploy because we have had exactly the same letter from Freeborns saying they have a customer that wants a Romahome exactly the same spec as ours so we would get an incredible deal if we decided to buy a new one and give ours as part exchange or am I just being sceptical.
Regards Graham

Think that you've hit the nail on the head there, Graham. That is what went through my mind when I read Viv's post.

Must admit that it did cross my mind and thought no more about it until I read the post from Jacqui and it reminded me.
It is a bit like the estate agent letters we receive particularly when the market is slow. I bet we get loads of them now.

Nice to see the Romahome owner is not so easy to fool as some may think! And any way I've got all the used Romahomes at the moment which is why they feel the need to go touting for stock! Ant ps Happy new year.

Hello Ant, I loved the look of that left hand drive one you had last time I checked your website, it had heating as well and I could really do with that I must say! Oh well, I will just soldier on with the one I have, which is still a good wagon, just cold. The heater in the cab is doing it's best but I have loads of cold air coming in under and over the dash area and am not sure about the "wheel" control on the right, also the slider above the temp control seems to be stuck. Let's be fair, it is nearly 20 years old and I don't want to say too much in case I upset it before next weeks journey! Ciao, Steve.
