There's times when it's nice to have the side door on the Dimension open but not necessarily the whole way (it's a big door!). I thought it would be handy to have a way of keeping it half open and I'm just wondering how to do this in a simple way which isn't going to damage any of the mechanism or runners.
Any of you handy types got any ideas?

Hi Doug
We often have ours half open and as long as its not on a slope it stays that way. I see yours is a Dimension II so maybe the design has changed but its not a problem to us.

Graham We've rarely parked on a really level pitch but when we have I've still felt it would be good if it could be kept firmly half open so I'm still hoping for some ideas.. Doug

Hi Doug. If you look at the bottom runner of your door you'll see there are a few pre-cut holes about an inch in diameter, they take an old fashioned rubber door stop thats been slightly trimmed to be a tight fit. Depending on which way the door is more likely to move, you can fit the door stop infront or behind the slide, you will then have a couple of places you can leave the door partially open. The mk 1 Dimension doesn't have these holes and I have used a bit of plastic water pipe cut to length which is placed in the bottom runner channel. Ant

Ant - perfect; thanks. That's exactly the kind of practical-but-simple idea I was after.
Now- off to get a door stopper..1
