Hi Lunnie, thanks for the reply but I'm a bit puzzled as to which ones will fit, what makes to go for, they all seem to be caravan awnings or porch. Do you have an idea of the names of ones that will fit. thanks rachel

Movelite awnings fit - I've got one.
We also have a very old awning that we have had for 20 years and have used on 3 romahomes and many other vehicles. It was originally for la large coachbuilt with a rear entrance and my wife modified it slightly. One problem with most modern awnings is that they are not tall enough and are designed to fit on a side door. caravan awnings do not fit!
As Lunnie says ther are some on ebay that are suitable. Also look at the classifieds on the romaclub web site any you could post a wanted ad on UK campsite

I'm going for a Sunncamp Handy tent at £50, from the outdoormegastore.co.uk site, reduced from £70, and postage is a fiver.
It's a stand alone 2-door drive away awning, not that big, but you can get an inner tent for extra sleeping (at extra cost) - just somewhere to put all that stuff when you're out and about, and which saves your pitch on a campsite.
Argos had something called a 'Handy tent' which was reduced to £34.99 which was pretty similar but with only one door in, which would have done the job, except they are sold out and probably won't have any more in til next year. If anyone has one of these going cheap, let me know!
It all depends on what you want to use the awning for. I'm on a tight budget, so the cheaper the better! ;D
