Our First Trip in C15 ??

HIDEHI Campers, well we went on a 600 mile tour in the C15, TO Whitby and aria Yorkshire. ;D
The old girl ran great up the highest Motorway in the uk lolll .
And we camped with the yorshire DA, AND BCC RALLY.
At £5 per night, it was great.
The camper is verry comfy and everything worked.
It did use 2 to 3 pints of oil, but went up the hills with no probs.
No changeing up and down the box like some classic campers we have had, you know the kind, the left arm nearly falling off lolll ;D ;D.
We had a great time, and then came home .
Them Yorkshire guys at the Rally made us welcomed, and we are definately going back next year but will stop for longer.

I was shocked to see your first post after your weekend away in the RomaHomes for sale section I thought you were selling your new toy, but good to see you are not.

Glad you had a great time away and enjoyed yourself and all went well.

Yes my van uses a lot of oil too but not quite as much as yours, I have just put a NEW head on and I am in the proses of testing it out, at the moment it seems quite good but I wont know until I do a proper run of two to three hundred miles on dual carriage ways and motorways and up some of them 1in 4 road they have in Devon etc. , talking to people in the know they reckon that this engine can tend to use oil, even when new.

Did you find your cig lighter socket, and how did your sat nav go.

HI Martin, yes I did find the cig lighter lolllll, I put my glasses on loll.
And the TOM TOM worked great, I thought that there may have been a prob due to the top of my camper, but no it was ok.
I may have mised led by the pints of oil, it used , but thanks for the info as to the c15 useing a bit of the good stuff lol.
It was sunny in yorkshire, all the time we were there, great trip, totaly enjoyed it, and the litle camper ran great.
Let me know how you get on with the head, I cant now do the engine work myself, as i am disabled.
