My youngest son passed his driving test yesterday! ;D ;D ;D
Third time lucky! I'm so proud of him. He has worked very hard in order to be able to take driving lessons and keep paying for tests (did you know it's nearly £50 each time you take it now?)
I'm made up!

That's great news Jay Jay, I remember when our two sons passed we felt so happy for them but then you start to worry about them being on the road on their own having newly passed. But then I suppose its a parent's prerogative to worry, we wouldn't be good parents if we didn't would we?

Yes you do worry about them. We had to rush out as soon as he had passed to get insurance fo the little peugot 106 he's bought, then dash to the PO to get it taxed.... what a rush!
Then he was out in it all the rest of the day an half the night.... yes I worried!
If anything I think the new driving test (esp the hazard perception stuff) makes new drivers more hesitant. I don't know if that's good or bad. 50-50 maybe?
I waited for him when he took his theory test - good grief - I'd never have passed that.. spent the time reading the book while I was waiting. ;D
