Actually step-Grandad but it feels like the real thing to me. Harrison (known as Harri to his mates already) was born in Cardiff at 3.18am on Friday so he's a little Taffy (hence the spelling of Harri). I'm as proud as a peacock - he's a little cracker. Looking forward to introducing him to the Dimension.. ;D ;D ;D i61.photobucket.com/albums/h69/CannonOlympus01/Harri/DSC00387.jpgDoug

Hi Doug
Welcome to the world of Grandadhood (is that a word?).
You'll find it tons better than having your own kids, you can spoil Grandchildren without worrying about the consequences, that's what Grandparents are for after all.
Many congratulations from both of us.
Graham and Pauline

This little fella is actually number 2 so I've got a bit of previous under my belt...........
As regards the labour - hey, I faced it bravely and did rather well, I thought ;D
It was tough for his mum however although using on of those birthing pools apparently helped a lot. But what a trooper she is - she refused pain killers (!) and was home again within 12 hours....she really was brave..
