I'm going to have a spring clean and change things around a bit on the forum. I want to make it match with the website a bit more if I can.
So don't worry if things come and go, it is only me playing ;D

I just noticed the new pictures at the top of the forum - very nice.
My background has gone as well - is that you or me not able to find where to change it? I looked in 'Modify Profile' to find something.

It is all to do with Proboards upgrading the forum basics.
I've had to change things around so that they fit within the changes and don't make the forum look odd.
There is only one choice now on backgrounds and design as it was so difficult to make lots of different ones.
Sorry for any inconvenience or if it is not just how you would like it, perhaps it will grow on you ;D

My screen changes size, from main screen size, when I go into a thread. It is disconcerting as it sort of jumps when it changes.

At present there is no facility to list the new posts since last visit on proboards forums, hopefully it might be included in the next upgrade.
Having said that the "smiley face man" at the side of each thread will be sad if there is a new post that you haven't read. When you have read all the posts the faces should all be smiley, if that makes sense.
There is also a "last 25 posts" link that you can click at the bottom of the page in the statistics.

Thanks Graham, I'd sussed out the smiley face man but sometimes he seems to stay sad even when I've read everything on that one!

Yes, seems all sorted now then. My page is not jumping anymore, everything appears in new narrower style. Very nice too. You both seem to work so hard on all this, well done.
Funny though I have just been mowing the lawn and my fingers are not working properly after all that shaking around. Has taken me ages just to type this little bit.
