Just happened to notice that Meg has numbers with her in Derek's signature
Is she another Lost fan or, worst still, is she is simply an other?! ;D

I wondered when you would notice Did you have to check the numbers ? We are hopeless Lost addicts. Have been watching since the first two back to back episodes on day one. We then watched the third episode that was on E4 half an hour later. When Sky announced that they had series 3 there was a mad panic to get a sat dish fitted. We had it fitted on the Wednesday when the first episode of series 3 was repeated ----- whew, just in time Sad or what ? Derek

Hi Derek No, I, must be sad too as I knew the numbers straight away! We have got in a bit of a muddle though - didn't watch the first series, joined in at the second series then son bought us series one on DVD so we watched that at the same time!! Rather confusing to say the least! We've now watched both series 1 and 2 so are enjoying 3 and fully understanding it (if that's possible!) We just love the way everything comes together. Just about to watch Sunday's on video as it is on a bit late to watch 'live'. with work the next morning so we tape it.

Hi Pauline We have to tape it anyway so we can watch it twice, it doesn't always sink in the first time. I have just found a web site that has transcripts, very handy for decoding what Hurley has muttered, need to be careful of spoilers though. Derek

Hi Mike, call me a cheapskate eh! Why did you have to get a 24V one? You do like to make things difficult. Would love to come and play with your toys but Judy has other plans. There is some ancient festival coming up that requires the buying of food and presents. You give the presents, eat the food then go to sleep in front of the telly. Err---dare I ask if you have thought how to wire it? Is the fridge one side to deck? Hope not! If you want to charge the leisure batt from the alternator, lots of relays or a great big switch. It makes my blood run cold Plenty of fuses I think. Derek

For most lady fans it's a choice between Dr. Jack and Sawyer but in Meg's case I suppose it's Vincent who's the pin-up!

Hi Derek - you're right - I got a 24v one 'cause I'm a cheapskate also!! Managed to get a 2nd hand, but never used kit from a chap in Bristol. £395 Yes, it will be a bit of a challenge switching the batteries to parallel them for charging, then series'ing them to supply the heater. This box of tricks should do the job The biggest challenge so far was tracking down a heavy-duty 2PCO relay - in the end had to go with a Maplin one with 4 x 12a contacts, which are doubled-up to give 24amps switching. Other than ex gov, they seem hard to track down - would have preferred a heavier one, but I think this should do the job. The heater will be mounted under the passenger seat, in the engine compartment, with the hot air outlet onto the front of the side door step - swivelled up to heat the van, and outwards to heat the awning! Warm air inlet will be on the front of the engine compartment, behind Sue's feet - hope she doesn't get "sucked in" Also have a Waeco MS-50 cruise control to fit - wish I'd had the Bongo earlier in the year, then would have had longer to rip it apart before the weather stopped play! So, the jobs-to-do list is growing longer - thank gawd I don't still have to go to work - definately couldn't fit that in now! Makes me wonder how I ever found time to build a speedboat in our lounge when the kids were small - Sue had to take them away for the weekend when I fibreglassed the inside!! Mike

Hi Mike Great stuff, you may get some inrush current when you parallel the two batts if the leisure one has been discharged. A very low ohm resistor should limit it, not to much or it will effect the charging. img300.imageshack.us/img300/6240/switch2is5.jpgDerek

Mike It's probably the best thread to have yours and Derek's conversation in as it's totally 'Lost' me!! ;D In fact Lost is probably easier to understand Not sure what's up with Image Shack, your could try www.Photobucket.com, although you have to register to use that.

Judy is a Sawyer fan, I quite like Sun but Kate is OK as well. Kate definitely does it for me Graham Do we really have to choose? Can't I just have a mixture of Dr. Jack, Sawyer and the voice of Desmond? (oh, his Scottish lilt Having said that I suppose I'll stick with Graham, I don't have the time to train up another one. ;D
