The new patented table for our Dimension has now been tried and tested (see "New Dimension" thread) as a replacement for one of the tables that came with the van (it was too heavy, too big and too wobbly). It has been made from a £5 kitchen unit door from an end of range from B&Q. The table is rectangular with the fixing underneath off-set so that when in position one edge touches the side of the van. We've put a velcro spot on the van wall and the edge of the table, and what a difference to the stability! No spilt wine now! The pictures show the table in situ. The table still moved a bit when we walked through the van, because of the flexing of the floor above the storage compartment. So the solution was to strengthen it, as shown in the next pic. Storage of the table is at the back of the van, in place of the old one, but we didn't want to start drilling holes, so used the original fastening and a carefully crafted piece of wood fitting in where the kitchen-unit door hinge would have gone. (next pic) We use the same table outside with a Fiamma tripod, but didn't find that satisfactory for inside. What are other peoples solutions for eating indoors? This is my first attempt at posting pictures so I hope it works! Audrey

I think that I mentioned in an earlier post that we made a smaller table and we use it inside and out with the tripod leg. We find it really useful being able to put it wherever we need it. Our new table also fits at the back with a bit of padding!

Great idea Audrey, the table looks good (pictures uploaded fine)
It's amazing what little improvements you can think of after living in the van for a few holidays.
We are still managing with the tables as they are but being very careful when sitting down!! In the nice weather we just sit outside anyway on a folding picnic table. We would like to have a moveable table to use when we are using the seats in the 'settee' mode but we haven't got round to getting our thinking caps on yet.
I like your upholstery, haven't seen that design before.
