I spotted this in our local WI newsletter - thought it might amuse and/or strike a chord Grandma by Marion BinghamWe’re very concerned about Grandma She’s giving us reason to fret. Instead of just cosily knitting She spends all her time on the net. She talks endlessly about modems And something called a mega bite And it seems that her house is now ruled by a mouse, At her age it just isn’t right. She does all her shopping on ebay She says you get things for a song But we’re carefully eyeing the things that she’s buying Well, what does she want with a thong. Bur it seems she’s got a new toyboy They communicate daily by text She calls him darling Murray and out biggest worry Is what Grandma’s going to do next. I’m sure you can see our dilemma, Still, soon it sher birthday to come And we’re hoping and praying she’ll stop her web playing When she reaches a hundred and one!

Reminds me of my Mum, she bought her first motorbike when she retired and was a grandma.
