Hi all Sorry we had to rush off but we made it back in one piece and Terry is now feeling a bit better, he has warmed up at last!!!!
We have bought one of the tiny radiators from Halfords for next time instead of the fan heater.
I am fit now after my long walk and I am looking forward to carrying on the exercise with the Ramblers Association.
I think the weather is going to stay good all week so should be nice for those who stayed or went on to another site.
We are up for Hayfield and will probably book up soon.
Thanks Wendy and John for organising this trip, and for the lovely cake.
Viv

Sorry we missed you leaving Viv, but we all understood the need to get home. Glad to hear Terry is well. I dunno - anything to get out of the group picture eh?

It was lovely to meet you all and shame we didn't get more time to talk lol.
Hopefully next time we will be able to sit round outside with a few drinks.
The photos are great not that I have looked at mine yet, I too felt awful all day at work Monday and went to bed as soon as I got back 5.15pm although 100 times better today.
Simon did truly enjoy the walk and it was his idea (witnesses from pub on Friday please) and as he has been stuck on the motorway 2 nights in a row may find it quicker to walk.
Hope to see some of you at Hayfield too.

Hi Jana and simon I know how you felt I have to admit that I went to bed at about 5pm on Sunday and this is extremely unusual. Keep us informed about latest free London spectacle as you seem to be more up to date than us with what is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to see you at Hayfield.

Hi all. Gander reporting in. Had an idea. If 2 Romahomes have awnings, we could park in such a way that we could open up the front flaps supported on line prop type poles making sure they met in the middle and perhaps a couple of windbreaks each side and we would then have our own covered area for get-togethers. What does anyone think?

Hi Gander
Sounds good idea in theory but if you are camping at a C&CC site they would not allow it as there is a rule that says units should be 6 metres apart due to the risk of fire spreading.

I do have a day tent which is very similar to Yamaha's, if that is any use.
