What do you do in your campervan? I haven't been away in mine yet, but I've been on holiday with my Sister in her caravan... We both paint, knit, watch TV*, read, etc - generally lazing about! Last time we went away I painted some more 'pebble pets' - just beach pebbles painted to look like little ladybirds, I was very pleased with them... selling them on ebay as we speak! (need the dosh) My sis did some proper painting, two beach scenes no less, and a third 'in progress' by the time we came home:). * we watched all three DVD's of the extended version of Lord of the Rings, about 12 hours worth.... can I have a medal - I actually understand it now.

Wow, you and your sister sound really creative, Pauline and I use our van to chill out, we are childminders during the week and its nice to get away to a nice site and if its good weather just sit around and relax.
We also like to go to a site with some walking from the campsite, we don't walk far but a gentle amble of around 4-5 miles in beautiful surroundings is a perfect antidote to a busy week. We are near to Derbyshire so are lucky to have some lovely sites in good walking country.
When we can we like to indulge our other hobby birdwatching, north Norfolk is a favourite of ours, its good for birds on the wash and its a lovely unspoilt part of the country.

Graham said "its nice to get away to a nice site and if its good weather just sit around and relax." I would have thought you'd have liked to do something different at the weekends, Graham !! Mike

How nice it is to have you back Yamaha we have missed your little witicisms, I'll have you know "young man" that I am rushed off my feet here, up to the neck in nappies and feeding bottles. ;D
Any minute now Pauline will be back from Mother and Toddlers with the little darlings and I have to keep them occupied while she makes lunch for us all - phew I am exhausted!

Hi there We seem to be going off most weekends for some kind of event rather than relaxing eg. visits to family, parties, festivals, weddings, christenings, Bognor Bird man etc So next year we are going to make sure we have some times away just relaxing so I can read, read and read and walk, walk, walk.
