I've sent the Outdoor Revolution tent back, the elastic snapped in one set of poles as I was taking it down after a trial run in the garden, after half-an-hour.. So I'm looking at getting a Sunncamp handy tent instead - unless anyone has one for sale second hand! Thanks, JayJay ;D

Sunncamp Handy tent collects water on the roof when it rains - that's why we sold ours and now use the Outdoor Revolution Outhouse for bike storage etc.

Hi Wendy, thanks for the tip. I'm going away next year to Skye and need a utility tent which can be adapted for sleeping an extra person, and although I liked the outdoor revolution I knew it was going to need some adapting in order to be used for sleeping. I'm wondering whether The Hut utility tent might be better - it says it can be used as a two man tent as well. The height isn't good though, at only 5ft 3" Anyone got any ideas as to what I need? I need something that can be easily put up by myself, and can be used freestanding and can also be a sleeping tent if not alone. Sounds like a tall order! Here's the other tent I was looking at on ebay item number 822493048
