The Yamaha household are busy this morning stuffing and preparing the Turkey for cooking today - to save the hassle of doing it tomorrow.
Anyone else doing the same - or are we unique?
Happy Christmas to everyone.

Hi Mike We will be doing it all in the morning so that (hopefully) it is all cooked at the same time for dinner in the afternoon. It just wouldn't be Christmas morning if I wasn't sticking my hands in a turkey Have fun and don't forget to take the giblets out

That's funny - our cat said the same thing - what are they?
We just lift a bit of neck and stuff it with stuffing. Are we doing something wrong?

don't forget to take the giblets out [image] That's funny - our cat said the same thing - what are they? We made the mistake of cooking the giblets for our cat one year - he gorged on them then promptly threw up on the carpet!! We just lift a bit of neck and stuff it with stuffing. Are we doing something wrong? Don't worry, the taste of plastic bag can add a new dimension of flavours

Thought you might like to know that our Romahome is serving as turkey storage right now. The fridge is just big enough and there is no room in the household one. Another use for a small motorhome! Mike J

That's a great idea Mike, I've used the van for hiding the odd birthday present but not for storing turkeys (yet!) Hope you had a great day

Don't do the turkey thing. There are only 2 of us and I had enough turkey to last me for a while. Hope everyone has eaten theirs all up by now.
We usually have fillet steak and trimmings instead.
