In an earlier thread (the turkey one!) it was suggested that we think of 101 things to use a Romahome for.
1) Well, my son's gorgeous Greek girlfriend gave him a kebab machine for Christmas. He suggested that he could supplement his student income by setting up a kebab outlet outside the local pub using my Romahome.
You can probably imagine the answer!
Other suggestions:
2) Rent out the loo in motorway traffic jams
3)Cover in branches and use as a hide when birdwatching
4)Paint a red cross on it and attach a blue light and hey presto, no more stopping at red lights (that WAS a joke by the way!)
Right, some on you lot... let's have some more ideas...

Hi Cil, I now have this mental image of your son looking a little like Harry Enfield's character Stavros with a Romahome! Good idea to start a new thread on the 101 things, so I'll bring over ours and Mike J's suggestions from the 'turkey' thread: 5. Use the fridge as a Turkey cold store at Christmas 6. Use as a spare bedroom for visitors 7. Hide presents, etc. from inquisitive eyes 8. A removal van for transporting kids to and from University

How about a truly revolutionary idea 9. Use it for camping

Ok, some more...
10) fit a freezer and sell icecreams in the park
11) offer hitch-hikers bed and breakfast on the move
12) park it in the back garden and keep your lawn mower in it
13) fit clothes rails and use as a wardrobe extention
14) back it tightly against your front door and use it as a porch
15) line it with gravel, then topsoil and compost, and grow your seedlings in it.

It ought to be 101 uses for a Small Motorhome or Jana and Yamaha will feel left out! Yamaha can certainly go for number 16 - use as a project to keep him out of mischief through the winter months

Hi Lunnie Now that is naughty!!! what if the little mite gets scratched, (I mean the van!)
1) Refuge from the rest of the family for an hour or so at Christmas.
2) Extra loo at party time.
3) Bed and breakfast for when local events take place.
4) and for neighbours' visitors who come from Australia and get drunk and can't get back to hotels!

Hi All Charge the Nosey Parkers a bob or two for looking through the windows, or an extra bob or two for a full tour of the vehicle. Just Like The Country Houses.

I have used my Romahomes, we've had five, to transport my Drum Kit to gigs, I've played pofessionally all my working life, and it's nice to be able to do the gig, have a night-cap, then go to sleep in my own bed, driving home the next morning.

So now we have a Romahome as a musician's roadie. Wow, wish I could play the drums, I'd compete with the lad next door but even louder!!! Actually he is not bad.

16. Use it as a retreat when the world gets too much for you. 17. Hide in it when the Vicar/Milkman or in our case the Window cleaner appears. 18. We used ours as a shower room when our heating/hot water were out of action last winter. 19. When visiting family use it as your bedroom so you can escape and enjoy your own space. 20. Somewhere to enjoy an odd drink or two. 21. Use it for your hobbies although a drum kit may not fit or the bagpipes may be a bit much too. 22 A radio shack for amateur radio enthusiasts. 23 For a card school.
Woohoo just noticed I now have 2 wheels on my wagon.

When your bathroom is out of use, then Romahome is a port a loo.
