I use Farecla G10 which is an extra fine grade liquid compound then 3M Perfect-it Finishing Glaze, and my 1999 C15 looks a treat!!! the black streaks do not appears as quickly and the rain just sits on the surface like little blobs.
Expensive at £38 for the two but a little goes a long way and it is NOT a hard job to do, I now do it myself, no need for my son to do as previous with other products.

The Farecla products are made for the GRP and the G10 that Lunnie uses is good if the vehicle finish is already quite bright, you can use it on the painted part of the vehicle also. If the body has gone all dull the I would use the Farecla G3 ,always use it with a wet cloth.( you can get most of the scratches out of the plastic windows with G3 aswell). Once you have got the shine back any cream or soft paste silicone based finishing polish can be used. The silicone based polishes make it much easier to get the squashed flies off in the summer. Not wishing to be sued, the only polish I would never use because it leaves a residue you can't see untill a month or so down the line by which time it has baked on and is a sod to remove sounds like the french word for the Sea! In the past I've had to sand a Romahome body with 1200 wet and dry to get the residue off before starting to polish! Lastly NEVER put a Romahome through a public car wash with those big fluffy brushes, you never know if the previous vehicle to use it was covered in sand, grit, very muddy and you'll scratch the windows for sure and maybe the GRP body. Ant,
When I had Freda MOT'd I mentioned the G3 to them and they very kindly sent me next door the the body shop, and a kind gentleman then used both G3 and G10 on Freda and the best result was the G10. My question is would the G3 work on the windows? as you say the G10 does.
As for the other stuff, I used it once and regretted it straight away, it was horrendous.

For any type of Lexan or polycarbonate windows I've always found that " PLEXUS " spray to far exceed anything else. Also, it's claimed to be anti-static. www.PlexusPlasticCleaner.comMike

Hi Joan. The G3 has a greater cutting compound in it compared to the G10, so i'd use the G3 on the windows. When doing any body repairs I always finish the job by blending in the repair edges with G3 followed by G10 then a finishing wax. If your widows aren't too bad then the G10 would certainly improve them. Ant
