Ant Thanks for the information about the heater. I have tried it and it works. i note your comments about the control unit and have explained to my wife.
Although I am new to the duo outlook I have exchanged it for a C15 and so understand romahomes. but I have 2 questions.
What size gas cylinders can you get in the gas lockerf
Our Heki rooflight has 2 flourescent lights built into it but I acnnot find an on/off switch other than the switch that controls the all the lights. Am I missing something?

Peter,
I can answer the question about the rooflight fluorescent lights. There is no seperate on/off switch for them. I traced the wiring in mine as I was looking for exactly the same thing.
I popped down to Maplin and bought a small round rocker switch which is fitted into the grille in the front right corner. This is where the wiring comes into the rooflight so is the perfect place. Now I can switch these on and off seperately to the other lights.
The switch doesn't look out of place either - you can see it at Devizes if you are coming, or I can take a photo and post it on here for you.

Hi Peter. The gas bottle that the Outlook is designed for is the 3.9Kg Propane, the pigtail connected to the Euro regulator will only fit the the Propane bottle. I normally supply a gamping gaz pigtail aswell so you can use it with either. The heki light switch was dropped by Romahome at the end of last year, after being badgered by both me and Freebon at the last show I think they will reinstate it. Tim has done exactly what Romahome used to do and fitted a switch in the area that the wires are available. Sadly the shop floor and MD at Romahome lost touch a bit on that point. Ant

Thanks Tim.
I thought that might be the case.
Please can you let me have more details about the switch that you got from Maplins.
A photo would help.

Hi Peter, As you can see from these pictures.... The switch is very small and unobtrusive. I used the grille to fit the switch into as it is simply clipped in and in this corner covers the terminal block, where the main wires come in so it is very easy to re-route the wires through the switch. It is also very easy to cut the grille to the right hole size as you can join the perforations up, and reversible should you decide you don't like it, by simply replacing the grille. By the way the switch fits into a 20.4mm hole....not the 204mm hole stated on the Maplin website!! Hope this all helps Tim

Thanks Tim I bit the bullet this afternoon and fitted a small rectanular rocker switch. It is just the job.
