Hello Guys HELP. OK We got our C15 Motorhome home to the yard yesterday, the seller Ruth Kindly brought it half way. Well my Q is, the coach step in the rear goes down a lot when any one enters the van, infact more than other biger motorhomes we have had. Then it levels ok . What do you experts think, dose it need spring assisters, OR . Or is that normal , it goes low when in kitchen part. It runs great, on fresh air compaired to some campers we have had lollllllll #clapping # Gwil

Hi Gwil
Glad you have your new toy. Our Hylo dips as you get in. Have you two jacks at the back? We don't use ours but if the movement concerns you that's what they are for.

Hi Gwil As Derek has said the Romahomes have wind down legs which keep the van stable when camping are you sure your van doesn't have them? Glad you got the van OK and are pleased with it, here's to many happy camping trips. Cheers Graham

Glad you got your new toy Gwil, happy camping! Have you two jacks at the back? We don't use ours but if the movement concerns you that's what they are for. Derek Derek, tut, tut, you are very naughty, didn't you read the thread about the steadies earthing the van? Ant said: Stabilisers, they are the two caravan jacks either side of the door underneath, you should have a jack handle ( bent bit of metal with a 19mm socket on the end) to unwind them. always wind at least then/s one down when plugged into mains as it earths the vehicle. Thanks AntUnless of course you never use electric, but I seem to remember that Judy likes her home comforts

I cannot resist posting this Eight words women use... 1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up. 2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. 3.) Nothing : This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine. 4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It! 5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.) 6.) That's Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. 7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. 8.) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to #3 Is that OK as in number 6? Derek

Hang on, does this mean that the van is not safe if the stabilisers are not down? Surely they must be safe with electric as something could happen and you may not be able to use the stabilisers, I thought that they were optional, that is what the chap told us at Freeborne.
Joan did say that it was better to use them as it stopped strain on back suspension, I can understand that but not that I could end up dead of electric shock as I lie drinking my wine with the lights on and watching the rabbits scurrying around the campsite.
Seriously is this a fact about the electrics and earthing???

HI GUYS. Well we went on our first trip last week, great litle camper the C15 whatever lolllll. The prob with the back step going down on entry, was sorted by useing a pump up jack as the c15 dose not have any back legs lolll. Bryn the dog said he has but they wont fit lolll. We traveled over 600 miles in total great time, stoped for 3 nights at a BCC Yorkshire DA Raly for £5 a night, great bunch of guys, made us more than welcomed.
