Hi, sorry I keep having to ask questions! My calor gas cannister doesn't fit underneath the seat where it's been housed properly. I suspect that it was originally under the cooker, where a fridge has been installed. It's about 1" proud of the lid underneath the upholstery. Someone on here (sorry, can't remember your name) suggested I used camping gaz instead as the bottles are smaller and might fit. My questions is - I know camping gaz is under a much higher pressure than calor and meant for camping in the fresh air rather than in a van. Does the regulator (know I'd have to buy a new one for Gaz) control this pressure, will it be safe to use in a campervan or will it blow all the valves/connectors with the extra pressure and cause gas leaks? I'd be happier using calor, but to do so, I will have to resolve the 1" height difference prob. I thought of cutting a round hole in the lid so the calor handle bit can just stick out as you wouldn't really feel it underneath the upholstery, but not sure if this would be safe. Essentially, someone would be sitting on the gas bottle! The other way is to higher all the seats by an inch or so, something I don't really want to do, major surgery! Thanks for all your help, JayJay

Jayjay. Use camping gaz, the regulator will sort the pressure to 28mbar. The propane calor is stored at 100psi which is the highest pressure of them all. All romahomes were made to use camping gaz until very recently. There is no difference to jet sizes for using camping gaz, butane,or propane. Ant
