Hi all,
On my last trip out in the romahome, I had problems getting the gas cooker to light. The blown air heating wouldn't work either. I found that I had to find one spot on the regulator control knob and they would both work. I had not had the problem with my old and nearly empty gas bottle. When I fitted a new bottle, I had this problem.
I had to buy a new regulator and that fixed the problem.
Thought it may help other newbies such as I ? I may buy a spare to carry with me in future. They look like they should never fail but they obviously do sometimes.
Scotty.

Scotty. All gas regulators have a date stamp on them, they should be replaced every ten years but many of them go down with faulty taps before they need replacing by law, ( gas reg law anyway). Ant

Hi Ant,
Many thanks for the info. (so many things to learn)....
I think a trip down to your garage will be required after the new year to give the van a proper safety checkout.
Cheers and beers Scotty
