I have noticed that I can see daylight through the back door underneath from inside, the seal is flattened on the bottom. Can't seem to get it out, also I am wondering if there should be a seal on the door itself, it looks like there is a "runner" or slot to take one. The floor carpet in the footwell does get wet in rainy weather, I noticed this was possibly explained by Ant in a previous answer as due to the seal, any ideas anyone? The van is a 1988 model. Also, is aftermarket fitting of an auxiliary heater and leisure battery possible as I don't have either and am going to get a bit nippy on my trip to Switzerland next week, of course it's too late to fit it now but maybe for future trips. Thanks and happy New Year to all! Steve.

Hi Steve Propex heaters seem to be based in Soton, link here www.propexheatsource.co.uk/contact.htmThey should be able to retrofit a heater, make sure you are sitting down when they tell you the price though. No problem retrofiting a leisure batt. I would recommend having a word with Avon M/C (Ant). Main thing is to make sure the batt is vented to the outside. Enjoy your trip to Switzerland ----- Derek

Thank you for the reply and helpful suggestion Derek, it's clear that "Ant" is the oracle and I will certainly make contact with him asap. By the sound of it I will have to wait awhile for a Propex heat system, I am not at all "flush" in financial terms! Probably best to take extra blankets for the overnights, I will just use the gas rings for a while before turning in. Spoke to someone in CH today and it's about -4 or 5 down in the village I am going to, and I understand Romahomes have been used in Sweden, so all should be well. Anyway, as Yamaha knows, it's not as cold as being on a motorbike for the journey, "luxury" in fact! Steve.
