Another silly question from me. When buying a 2nd hand MH, do you have to be wary of damp as in a caravan? If so is it a case of the `nose` test and a trusty dampmeter? Regards Robin

Hi Robin
It depends what sort of Motorhome you are looking at, the Romahomes i.e. Duo, Outlook, C15 etc., are one piece fibreglass body with no joins so there is no chance of it leaking that way, the only way water could get in is through the rooflight if it had a dodgy seal for instance, but that is easily remedied.

Hi Robin, welcome to a very friendly club, in answer to your question, re damp, Graham is quite right, all Romahomes are of one piece fibre glass construction, and in theory shouldnt have any problems with water ingress, however, the lovely C15 HiTop/ HiLo can have a problem with water getting into the rear well, as I have found over the years, having owned five Romahomes, but we still love the vehicles, and wouldn't be without one. Best wishes, Jack & Pat, Cornwall
