Hi Sharon Welcome to the forum its lovely to have you on here, we have a few people on here with demountables so you are not alone. You've got your motorhome just at the right time for the start of the camping season the best advice I can give is find a nice campsite and try it out, you will soon know what you need and what you have got, We are having a meet at Woverley see HERE you would be made most welcome if you wanted to come. Hope you have lots of great trips in your new "toy". Graham

Hi Sharon
Welcome to the most useful and friendly forum for Romahome owners.
We have only been owners for a few months but thanks to the forum we (Hilary and I) feel like old timers.
The best tip I can suggest is to HAVE FUN and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Malcolm

Hello Sharon. Welcome to the best forum there is. Very helpfull if you need advice on your unit. We are newbies and joined few months ago. It is sooooooo friendly. We have booked for the meet at Wolverly and we are looking forward to meeting everyone and putting names to faces. Our Bossy cat Barney will be with us. Good luck with your camper. We live in Essex, be nice to know if anyone lives near us. Derek & Penny

Pauline hadn't ever driven anything other than a small car but she prefers to drive our Dimension now, she feels safer in it. Graham

just thought I would give you a quick update, we have been out in the van about 4 times now and we love it, we have had the back door sorted so the wind doesnt blow through, Our little baby fridge fits in just nice, we have bought a EHU cable and since I sorted the tyre pressures out, it drives much better. The hills dont seem to be a problem and after camping in a small tent this is luxery!!

I used to camp years ago, so I know where you're coming from. Luxury for me too. I gave my tent away the last time of using b/c of back probs and constant stooping - and lying on the floor to sleep on an air bed, cooking on a wobbly table - I could go on... Isn't it lovely to have a comfy bed, a fridge, a cooker and EHU on board? Legs down and kettle on!
