Hallo Spring Meeters, As the initiator for this meet (our 5th) I thought that I should offer some last minute words of encouragement. I'm sure that the weather will be alright by Friday ;D - it's better to get this nasty stuff out of the way now! For the weekend we have 11 units definitely booked and 2 more intending to come. We look forward to seeing you all there. When you arrive at the site reception tell them that you are part of the Small Motor Home group and they will take you to the area that they have reserved for us. I Intend phoning the site when it opens and advise them of our requirement to be sited as a group. Beyond this, there will be no further organisation over the weekend and everyone will be free to come and go as they please. With regard to socialising in the evenings, with the pub at the edge of the site, I would imagine that there will always be some of us eating and/or drinking there and it should act as a convenient/warm/comfy focal point We will be away after Tuesday, so after that I will be unable to respond to any questions/comments re. this thread Best Wishes and Safe Travelling to Wolverley

I'm going on Thursday, along with Martin I think, so we'll already be there!
Have finally managed to program my sat nav to use the roads I want to go on - long story!
Can't wait. The only question I have to ask is - where do I store all this stuff???

This morning I spoke to the Site Manager at Wolverley and advised them of the impending arrival of the SMALL MOTORHOME GROUP. She said that was a suitable area with electric hookups where we could all go-you just need to advise them that you want to be with us.
Also she told me that the site would be very busy but there should still be some spaces for those coming without bookings.
See you all there! Best Wishes J

VERY BUSY? ? Wonder why! It can't be the prospect of a heatwave can it?? I wish, Viv!! Ithnk it's going to be busy with us lot! I'm hoping this wind is going to 'be reasonable' tomorrow, although with a loaded camper it should stay on the road hopefully!

Yes thats me, I will be there on the dot of opening What time do they open? I'm only coming approx 60 miles, but at a snails pace in my snailmobile. Might be even slower if the winds are against me!

Been in and out all day packing up the vanny! I'm ready for a rest now! And wouldn't you know it - got my Dad to check the lights are all working and one didn't - just the rear inside sidelight/headlight one. Went down to buy a new bulb, tried it - no use... cleaned all the little connections, put them all back, checked nothing undone on the inside.. no luck. Can't see it being a fuse as neither of them would be working I think - so that leaves the wiring/loose connection somewhere... poo. Now the chap that came a few weeks ago was following the wiring as he had come to wire in these reversing sensors. Hummed, haarrd and fiddled about a bit, then went away again to get some more wire and tools... Said all the wiring needed doing... Haven't seen him since. And all my lights were working before he came a-fiddling... Anyways, I'm coming and going during daylight hours, so hopefully I won't need to use the lights! Something already to fix when I get home!!
