Thanks Jacki, you should have just heard me speaking to Price-drop TV!!! mostly certainly not cool at all, they are really mucking me about, not returning my money, excuse after excuse, finally gave them 48hrs and threat of solictors letter!! plus blackening their name on ukcs and anywhere else that I can warn people to be careful with them. I ordered a tv it never arrived 24th Jan, which they maintain it had been, so had the arguement since then!!! High cost calls as well, they offered me a £3 voucher!! no use as I shall not be buying from them again.
That is my rant over! so ppl owing me money does get me going.
Hope you manage to re-set your sat.nav and remember it is UK english not USA english.

Is it Mike or Heather who is the computer whizz? Heather's the cake whizz, so guess who has more time to compute!

Hope you manage to re-set your sat.nav and remember it is UK english not USA english. I've reset it! I chose UK english, so I'll go and test it and see if it now avoids just the motorway roads when set to 'avoid highways' - you never know your luck!

Hi all
What a great weekend we had, nice to meet new and old faces again.
I would like to thank all the ladies that brought cake to the meet, and giving me the "leftovers" befor they left, and to Joan for the custard, it all went down very nicely thank you.
The weather wasnt too bad after you all left, I did manage to get out on the bike quite a bit, to try ond work off the extra pounds put on by all the cake, I dont think it worked, but my legs are looking even better now. And thats right Joan, I dont wear boxers. Even went to Dolgellau, in Wales, on a nice sunny day, not on the bike tho.
The "expert mechanics" mentioned by Jacki was only cutting off the end of a split water hose and putting it back on. Jacki dont forget to get a new one and have ALL the other water hoses checked and replaced if in any doubt, and I'm sorry I couldnt fix the rear light. Glad you got home OK
Kendall sounds good and I like Haltwhistle, but because I can go away whenever I want, I dont go in the high season because I think the charges are too high, but for a meet...? I will have to check and see what the bank statement says.
I will post the pics I took when I get them sorted later, and yes, I do have Dereks legs on my "flash card"
And lastley thanks to John and Wendy for organising.
See you all later
Martin

Jacki dont forget to get a new one and have ALL the other water hoses checked and replaced if in any doubt, and I'm sorry I couldnt fix the rear light. Glad you got home OK Martin Got my local garage to order the pipes, told them I want both bottom and top ones replaced as I think they'll both be the same age! And asked them to check all rubber bits! So that's on order for sometime after Easter - and they're going to take a lookie at the rear light as well. It behaved superbly on the way home - better than ever and the needle didn't move an inch over what it should, so that was definately the problem. I've also asked the garage to get hold of a spare fan belt to take with me as a spare! Can't thank you enough, Martin, it was really nice of you to fiddle about and get muddy knees and oily hands on my behalf. I was very despondent when I arrived and wondering if it would be wise to go to the Highlands and outer Hebredes as planned in May! I'm a bit more confident about it now - smiply b/c the engine was running so superbly on the way back! A big thank you. Kendal sounds good to me to - so providing I haven't broken the bank on this trip to the highlands, I'll be there! Jacki :-)

Great weekend. What about the snow today? Penny Glad I'm at home with all this freezing weather - only the odd flake of snow here - I always say the Cheshire plain is too cold for snow! Look forward to the pics! Hope you got home ok too, hows that asbo puddy tat going on? Did he enjoy the trip? And how was your awning? Mine got a few leaks - don't think I put it up properly! Have put in waterproofing spray for the next trip!

Jacki. If it leaked and you brought it new, then return, because the fabric should not leak. I brought one, 2006 and the stitching came undone, I returned it and they sent an replacement, then the bedroom pod elastics snapped again, returned and repaired.
Lovely photos Martin. glad you enjoy cake and custard!
