my demountable doesn't have a tank, I just fill a jerry can and shove the pipe and pump in the top. I don't have any outside lockers either, didn't realise that dismountables had them! maybe it was an extra they added as the model progressed.
Anyway, sorry I can't be more help

No outside lockers either. I think some of the more modern ones have them though. Think I prefer inside ones - after all they are only going to take space away inside the van, even if they open on the outside, aren't they - the aperture has to be somewhere. My water container came with the van - there's a Whale (?) submersible pump which feeds into the cupboard under the sink and this just goes into the water container and I screw the lid down. Then switch on the pump and hey presto - water out of tap! Not a good idea to run the pump when there is no water in the container.

Hey Sharon,
just a thought - post in the Ask Ant bit about this - he may know where you can get a key for the outside locker! Can you post a pic? That might help us figure it out. I could post some pics of the sink and pump inside mine if it will help at all. Jay :-)

Hi Sharon. You have a late demountable body by the sounds of it, the earlier ones didn't have fixed water tanks or outside lockers. If you have a water filler on the outside you should or would have had a tank inside. The last demountable body had the tank under the n/s seat locker just like the C15 Romahome, earlier fixed tank models had the tank under the o/s seat locker. As for filler cap keys, you could ask some other Romahome owners to try theirs as there weren't that many different key numbers used, otherwise its fairly easy to force the cap off and replace it with a new one. Its not unusual to find the tanks removed in a demountable so don't think you're going mad if you can't find it! Ant

I might see if I can have a look at the pump, sink and a jerry can or just keep using the water carriers/bottles that we have
