Does anyone have any experience of these small campers, produced by Lifestyle Vehicle Developments Ltd?

Hi again Andrew Just had a look at the website and I am impressed. Looks really good, with an awning for longer journeys it could fit the bill if and when we decide to have just one vehicle.
I just love 'tiny and compact'!!!!

They are certainly VERY compact, a little too compact for my liking, I would rather have a Romahome myself.
I'm not sure whether I am right or not, but I think the MD of Lifestyle used to work for Romahome.
Regards Graham

Yes, Graham, Adam Coombe MD of Lifestyle used to be the Sales Director at Romahome. We met him in 2003 when going to see the factory on the IOW when they were producing Dimension model 001. The Parisienne is designed by Barry Stimpson, who has designed most if not all Romahome models, before Romahome took them on and improved them. La Mediterranee was the mark 1 of The Dimension. See this link for the Parisienne www.lvdltd.co.uk/21901.htmlThe kitchen uses fibreglass just as in Romahomes. I notice they do a Bongo conversion too, and I wonder if this model is or is related to Yamaha's.

Yep, they would fit our Bongo. Did look at their eBay ad for the units - but we prefer to "rough it" a bit - when we had the Duo Hylo we never cooked in it, nor used the sink - years of motorbike camping have "programmed" us into enjoying cooking and washing on our hands and knees!!
Trouble is - all the space we now have in the Bongo soon seems to get swallowed up with all the gear we now deem "essential", and it would be very hard to downsize the list to do it on the bike now!!
'Spose that's called progress!!

We got the literature on "La Parisienne" as we are considering downsizing. However, the passageway space between the seats/beds is only 6 inches. Not being a Twiggy Like creature, the thought of squeezing into this 6 inches every time one wanted to move brought tears to the eyes. OK, perhaps a good diet might help. For us, that was downsizing too far.

That is narrow, I think even Twiggy would struggle to get through there!!

Hi, The March 07 issue of Practical Motorhome had a 2 page article of someone using a 'Parisienne'. The article was more about the trip than the vehicle but had a few paragraphs and a few pictures. Sounds more suited to one person for the odd night, but does give you a 4 seat car for the rest of the time.
