Hi all We took the Dimension down to Ant on Saturday for our annual service and as you know the weather took a turn for the worst. After Ant had done the service (fine job) he consulted his computer and told us there was heavy snow on the way for the Bristol area we decided to head back north and stay overnight at Wolverley, little did we know the snow decided to dump on us in the night and we woke up to about 2-3 inches in the morning. It was very picturesque and I didn't have my camera but I took a few with the phone, not very good quality I'm afraid but it gives you the idea. brrrrrrr

We were visiting in Windsor and "camping" in the street. I couldn't believe it when I looked out of the van window at about 6.00am - I mean, surely it shouldn't snow in Windsor ! The Queen lives there, for heaven's sake ;D
Anyway, after making sure the Dimension's heater was turned up a bit, it was case of turning over and going back to sleep with dreams of the upcoming breakfast at the local greasy-spoon.

JayJay - Yes got back in one piece, we hung on till lunchtime by which time it had more or less all melted away, thankfully. Doug - Camping in Windsor sounds very grand, did you get invited in for a cuppa? ;D Sharon - I can't imagine how cold it would be without a heater, we were cold and we had one, glad you had a good first trip, hope the cold hasn't put you off, it does get better honest, you will forget all about that cold night when you are sitting outside the van with the sun beating down and a glass of chilled wine in your hand. Doug - Camping in Windsor sounds very grand, did you get invited in for a cuppa? ;D Graham Graham - No invite from you-know-who but the greasy-spoon was first class. Great value and your teacup was instantly topped up when it was empty. So no real need for a Gracious Invite. Doug
