Hi there Looking to buy a haynes manual for our suzuki supercarry romahome tx.
I have seen a few on ebay - but not quite sure if they are for our van.
Also do you know of any manual for the older romahomes as not sure how the batterys charge, or where the reserve gas tank is.
Do you know if you can use the grill as a way to heat the camper in the colder weather.
Thank you for your help in advance

Hi Kriss63. The haynes manual would be ok providing its says its for the super carry and it has the correct engine size included ( most manuals cover all the engine options in one book). Regarding Romahome manuals you'll probably get some help from this forum, I'm affraid I don't have any left now. Using the grill to heat the van is not something you should do although I know many have and not come to any harm. What you must remember is the grill and you are competing for the same oxygen, if its cold and you've stuffed all the gaps and stopped all the draughts coming in you have limited the ventilation for the gas to run for any length of time without producing harmful combustion gases. A shortage of oxygen will produce carbon monoxide, that just quietly kills you! If you get a headache open the windows immediately. Ant

I bought a manual off ebay - it's Haynes Service Manual and says on the cover Bedford Rascal/Suzuki Supercarry 1986 to 1994 (C to M registration) Haynes Service and Repair Manual. It's really good.
Do a search on Ebay put in Manuals then use the fine search to put in the make/year of your van.
I find that just boiling a kettle of water for hot water bottles warms up the van, but I wouldn't leave anything on for a long time, as Ant says. I bought a little oil-filled radiator which is ok if you're on electric hook up - otherwise hotties and blankets!

Thank you for your replies - going to look on ebay for a manual - I will get a hot water bottle safer than the gas.
