I'm not sure if there is something I'm doing wrong but when folk post pictures on the forum, I can never see them. Is there something i need to set in my profile to view them? Martin

Hi Martin
Sorry to hear you can't see pictures, you should be able to either see them on the post itself or click a link which takes you to photobucket and opens a separate window to see them. There is nothing to do on your profile it sounds like it must be a problem on your computer.
I've raised the matter with a higher authority (Pauline) ;D and she's turning over the old grey matter now to see if she can think of what the problem might be.

Hi Martin If you can see images on other sites then perhaps it is a photobucket problem. Have you ever blocked images from them, you might have done it accidentally by clicking a link? Not sure what else to suggest

Its very strange. I can see the pictures in your gallery sections but it is in the forum pages that they don't appear. It happens on my home PC and the ones in the office. Perhaps you could insert one here in this thread to see if it appears as a test? I just tried inserting one myself but a message come up saying that the host site was unavailable. Isn't technology wonderful? Martin

That one links fine, Graham - whereas the snow ones just linked to the site - no code to the photos.

Hi Mike Your senior moment or mine? ;D The ones of the snow were taken with my mobile so not very good quality and really small so you have to view them from the thread itself they don't open a link to a bigger picture. Note to self: must always take my camera with me in future. Graham

Hi Graham that one works fine. (The fishing picture) Its strange that I can't see others on the forum. Do you have an example of any existing threads where you can see pictures? In general where people have said there are pictures, I just get blank space. Martin

Hi Martin In that thread there are at least 3 pictures of a van. The second post down by Kriss63 is very large, it's amazing that you can't see it. I'm totally perplexed as to what is going on

I get the same thing from my home PC and my work machine. There must be some kind of setting somwhere. I do see the thumbnail picture (above) of the fishing scene. If I click on that I get the bigger version too.

Well there is an option on the forum to disable images, but yours is set to show them, so that can't be it either

A bit of an update! It seems I can see pictures from my home PC after all. My work one (where I have to confess that I sneek the occasional look from during the day) seems to be blocking them. There are all sorts of techncal blockings that corporate IT departments put in, so I'm sure it is a problem at my end.
I'll just have to do some work during the day and check out the forum in the evenings!
Thanks again
Martin

Just make sure the boss isn't standing behind you, what about a couple of wing mirrors on each side of your computer. ;D
