Polls

I was checking out some advice I'd been offered for my French trip and noticed an icon on one of my threads which said "add poll"' and leads to a page where a poll can be started. I'm curious
I see folks have read your post about the icons beside the postings...more of a variety now lol We'll all be experts soon, with your excellent tuition!!

Yes polls can be quite useful at times, even just for a bit of fun.

There have been a few in the past, such as what type of van you own.

So does this mean the poll has to relate to the thread where the sign appears?

I've not noticed it elsewhere.

Hi Jean

You can add a poll to a thread that you have started so obviously you would want it to relate to that thread, but if you wanted to start a thread with a poll, you choose "new poll" instead of "new thread" that will open up the poll and also a message box so you can post an explanation of the poll.
