I am a proud new owner of a Hylo which I have wanted for about 10 years now - getting a little old for camping now. So far I have just done a few short runs but I am looking forward to my first weekend away next week, not sure where yet I live on the south coast and as Iam just going for a coulpe of days I thought I would just stay local. Being new I could use some moral support in case I have any teething problems maybe with gas or batteries etc. If anyone is going to be around this area I would like to be in touch please

can only say "welcome to the forum". Live miles from you and have a demountable romahome so can't help you out at all but any problems you may have, ask on here and someone will know an answer. It might not be the right one mind.................... :-)

Hi Wanderer
Congratulations on getting your Hylo after 10 years of wishing, dreams can come true can't they?
Its a good idea to stay local while you get used to using your van and if you have any problems there is plenty of support on here just ask away. For the really technical answers you may find that Ant from Avon Motorcaravans will be able to help you he is an expert on all Romahomes, have a look at the "Ask Ant" section.
Good luck for your trip out, let us know how you get on.
Graham

I am a proud new owner of a Hylo which I have wanted for about 10 years now - getting a little old for camping now. Hi Wanderer, welcome to the forum. Like you, I have a C15 Hylo which I also bought because I'm too old to be camping..the joys of having no pegs to hammer in and a comfy, warm bed!!! You have come to the right forum..everyone is so friendly and usually you can find answers to queries you didn't even know you had! I am fairly new to all this and have found the forum to be a great fount of knowledge. I have been off for a few weekends to sus out all the glitches and am getting very excited as I am off to France for 3+ months at the end of May...touring around is so easy without a tent ;D Do tell us how you get on on your maiden trip. Jean

Hi wanderer and welcome. We live in Hampshire so might be near you. As the others have said you can find out so much from everyone on here. Hope you enjoy your first trip away. Let us know where you decide on going. Have you got the Hylo same as ours?

Hi Wanderer
Welcome to the site, really nice and friendly on here.
We don't live on the South coast but are often down there as our son lives in Bognor. Hope you find a nice site down South and enjoy yourself.

Hi Wanderer, I'm on the South Coast, too! I'll keep a look out for any Hylos I see and be sure to give you a cheery wave!
